Shipping Policy

When you place your order, most orders dispatch within 5 business days. However, during peak period, due to high demand, shipment can take up to 7 business days to dispatch. Once your order is shipped, we will advise you by email, the actual Delivery Times estimate below which will then apply.

We do specify our products from several trusted manufacturers according to their speciality abilities, so when you order multiple products, the orders may be shipped in different packages and at different times.

Once your order has been marked as shipped you will receive an email with a tracking number. The below estimated time frames then kick into effect once the tracking is accepted.

U.K, USA, Canada, Australia Customers, 5-15 Business Days            Other International Customers, 10-20 Business Days

ABOVE ARE ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES. Sometimes – RARELY - there may be delays due to the shipping carrier or international customs sorting. Due to any such factors that may affect international shipments, such as weather delays, holidays and customs inspections, we are then unable to always guarantee our regular shipping times.

Shipping Rates

Premium Insured Shipping is free on orders over £100.00 Sterling or equivalent.

Premium Insured Shipping fee of  £4.99 is normally charged on orders under £100.00  Sterling or equivalent, unless there is special promotion where free shipping may apply.

Wrong Address: 

We are not responsible if a package is undeliverable because of missing, incomplete, or incorrect destination details as it is always your responsibility to check the address provided is complete and correct at the checkout stage.

Any resulting costs to re-ship the package correctly in such circumstance will be invoiced to the customer.

Marked as delivered by carrier:

If an item is marked as successfully delivered by the common carrier or domestic postal service in your country (e.g. USPS/Canada Post/Royal Mail) to the correct address provided upon ordering but has not successfully arrived with you, we will endeavour to re-send a replacement order to you. This may sometimes not be possible though so must always be at the discretion of Smiley Giant and in this specific scenario - in the event that we cannot send a same product replacement for any reason we will not issue a refund but will endeavour to send something else to an equal value that will please you.  Please contact us if that is not acceptable in such a case so we can help and advise you online at  support@smileygiant.com.  Each case is different so please be sure to include all relevant information when contacting us.

Import taxes / Refusal of package:

All goods are shipped by us on the common basis of being bought as ‘presents or for personal use’ – generally regarded by customs authorities as being not for re-sale and of no commercial value.  We regret however that we cannot be responsible in the unlikely event of a customs official making contrary decisions on payment of Duties, Taxes, or Customs fees attempted to be levied under any circumstances on entry of goods to be delivered. We will not be responsible for any Duties, Taxes, or Customs fees under any circumstances.

If the order arrives at your country and...

  • ) The Customer refuses to accept the package
  • ) No attempt is made by The Customer in the country of destination to collect the package after the carrier has attempted delivery and got no answer at the door and not been advised a safe place to leave the package and has given the customer by written advice the opportunity to collect from the depot of that carrier within a given number of days but has not done so – and has not telephoned the carrier to arrange another day to collect from that depot or made another arrangement agreeable to both sides.

Then both we and the carrier reserve the right to abandon the package(s) and will not be responsible for any refund.
